Welcome to the table
Kentucky Kitchens & Diners LLC is the Russell County restaurant group behind the breakfast counter at the crossroads, the plate-lunch diner by the marina, and the lakeside supper room with the windows that face the water.
Each concept runs its own menu, its own hours, and its own front door — but they all share one kitchen, one prep list, and one rule: if it comes out of the fryer, it goes out hot; if it comes out of the oven, it goes out the same hour; if it comes out of the lake, it goes on the menu.
Concepts
Each door reads a little different. The biscuits don't.
Breakfast
all day · counter seating
Biscuits, country ham, red-eye gravy, and the kind of coffee that doesn't ask questions. Counter stools, a window booth, and the morning regulars who've been coming since before the sign went up.
Lunch
blue plate · grab-and-go
A rotating blue-plate special every day — meatloaf Monday, catfish Wednesday, chicken-and-dumplings Sunday — plus boxed lunches for the boats. Order at the window, eat on the dock.
Supper
table service · terrace
Table-service supper with the windows that face the water. Fried chicken, skillet cornbread, and whichever pie came out of the oven at four. Save room.
Hours, menus, and daily specials are posted at the door and on Facebook. Call ahead for large parties and holiday weekends — the boats come in early.
